The spouse of Tim Lincecum — among the best MLB pitchers of all time — has sadly died … the San Francisco Giants introduced on Thursday night time.
She was simply 38 years outdated.
Cristin Coleman, who dated Lincecum for years, handed away following a battle with most cancers in late June … however it hadn’t been extensively reported till the Giants mourned her loss in a sequence of tweets on Thursday.
“The Giants had been extraordinarily saddened to be taught of the passing of Tim Lincecum’s spouse, Cristin Coleman,” the crew wrote. “Our deepest condolences exit to Tim, Cristin’s household and all these whose lives she touched as a pal and trainer.”
“She was beloved by the Giants household and her caring and real spirit touched these of us who had been lucky sufficient to know her throughout her and Timmy’s years with us.”
In keeping with the San Mateo Every day Journal, Coleman — an elementary college trainer and principal — died “peacefully” on June 27, surrounded by household.
Coleman’s mother and father, in accordance with the outlet, stated in a press release on the time of her dying that she “was the sunshine of our lives, a good looking human being who touched so many hearts.”
Lincecum, who’s hardly ever been seen since his retirement from baseball following the 2016 season, has but to publicly touch upon the loss.
