Plainfield is looking for an investigation by federal, state, and county authorities into town’s quickly shuttered rescue squad, in line with a press release launched by town.
Town has accused the Plainfield Rescue Squad, which has offered emergency medical providers to residents in Union County’s third-largest metropolis for greater than 70 years, of mismanagement, a scarcity of accountability and failure to file tax returns since 2019.
